WDMD 346
WDMD 346 is a "Topics" course. Where WDMD 345 allows us the flexibility to teach courses on new software or technical topics, WDMD 346 is more issues-based.
All faculty have the option, from time-to-time, to create WDMD 346 courses. In my time at UWSP, I have designed and taught the following courses:
SUMMER 2011 Online Marketing and E-Commerce
Principles of User-Centered Design and Usability
Web Content Management System Courses
These courses allow us to stay relatively current with trends in our field--which change quickly. However, it can take as much as a year to determine the need for a course and get it on the Timetable. If you have an idea for an area of study not covered by our curriculum, or by a section of WDMD 346, you might consider an independent study or internship as an alternative.
