This course will introduce you to various capabilities made possible by the advancement of computer technologies, and the impact of these technologies on society.  It will examine hardware, software and network technologies.  It will address several contemporary issues that are affected by advancing computer technologies, such as cyber security and terrorism, personal privacy, proliferation of pornography, identity theft, freedom of speech, and piracy of intellectual property.
